Saturday – got new tires, sold extra books (got more than I expected and they took less than I expected), napped, drew a new Trot and also a Cap’n Bill, watched Head in the Clouds, a sweeping historical romance with a real bummer of an ending and The Fearless Vampire Killers, a comedy that was entirely too slow for my tastes.
Sunday – mowed the lawn, fried up some turkey bacon, drank a couple of bottles of wine, went shopping, drew a Nick Chopper. Not necessarily in that order.
A couple of bottles? … We haven’t done much shopping lately. I went to Long’s yesterday and got a couple bottles of Mr Clean, Dawn dishwashing liquid and a box of laundry powder. None of which came in handy when I faced the kitchen to make dinner tonight.
