  2. He wears tie – singular. This is the tie that has been hermetically bonded to the shirt that lives on the back of his office door. The shirttie is trotted out whenever he feels the need to impress someone.

    He never wore it to be bosslike. In fact, I got reprimanded once or twice for using that word to a client.

  3. Some things change. He’s no longer got an office, at least not at the business. And I think he’s getting used to being called the boss. Not that he likes it.
