I smiled. I said, “I might have more years than apparent. I might have had a few adventures on my way to this homey porch of yours.”

Job nodded and smiled. He said, “If those years and adventures have given you some wisdom, I’d most welcome it. I’ve had to find much of my own wisdom and doing so, some days, it wears me out. As for adventures … well, if you’ve had many and you can spin out their telling, I’ve got empty ears that want filling.”
