“I will crush you! I will destroy utterly! I smash you until your bones are flour and your heart is pudding!”

I shook my head. I said, “That last one made me hungry.”

Tomak frowned. He said, “This is ridiculous. Why do I need to boast and wail? Why can I not just fight?” 

Rosa almost patted his shoulder. She looked at the bandages on her hand and scowled for just a moment. Her smile returned almost immediately. She said, “This isn’t a real grudge match, Tomak. This show business. You’ve got to make noise if you want customers in the seats.”
