This is the last of the preliminary sketches for the Ghoul sourcebook that I currently have scanned in. Work still continues on the book.
Tomorrow I start posting from a sketchbook from 2002.
If these guys are lucky the ghouls are well fed and only want to play.
If the ghouls don’t get you, Mordiggian probably will.
Ghouls, even those who still look mostly human, kinda stink. Once they embrace their ghoulishness they’re usually happy about it.
In Zul-Bha-Sair all the dead belong to Mordiggian the charnel god. No one knows what the priests of Mordiggian look like behind their masks and under their robes – no one but the dead.

As a human transforms into a ghoul his memory of his human life fades. Objects that were once sentimental treasures become simply sparkly bits of distraction.
If a ghoul eats your brain it can, for a while at least, become you. It might even forget it’s a ghoul.
Ghouls just want to have fun.
I hate myself for that pun already.
